1. Who we are
Kaksiland is a Minecraft survival server run by Naletto Samuele, in Italy (contact: kaksiland@gmail.com). By using the website or joining the server (address mc.kaksiland.it) you accept these terms and the rules, which are part of them. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
2. Who can play
We don't set a minimum age of our own: Minecraft's rules and the law apply. To play you need a Microsoft account, and for younger players it's Microsoft that asks for a parent's permission. Under Italian law, below 14 consent to data processing is given by a parent or guardian.
You need a genuine Minecraft: Java Edition account. You're responsible for what happens with your account: keep it safe, don't share it, don't sell it and don't use other people's accounts.
3. The service
The server is free. Donations are voluntary and give no right to advantages, ranks, items or anything else.
We may change, add or remove features of the server and the website when needed.
4. Rules and sanctions
The staff enforces the rules and can warn, mute or ban whoever breaks them, including for behaviour not listed but harmful to the community. Staff decisions are final. If you think a sanction was unfair you can appeal with a ticket on our Discord.
On top of what the rules say, you may not:
- dodge a sanction with another account: it leads to a permanent ban of every account involved;
- pretend to be Kaksiland staff or Mojang;
- try to access the server, the website or connected systems without permission, or attack them.
We may suspend or close your access if you break these terms or the rules, for the safety of the server and its players, or if the law requires it. Except in urgent cases, we tell you why. You can stop playing whenever you want; to have your data deleted, read the privacy policy.
5. In-game items and currency
EuroKaksi, items, cosmetics, claims and progress exist only in the game. They have no monetary value, aren't your property and can't be traded for real money: IRL trading is forbidden and leads to a permanent ban.
To balance the game we may change prices, items and the economy. We may also reset the world or part of the data, giving notice to the community. If you lose items or progress to bugs, rollbacks or resets, we don't refund them.
6. What you build and write
Your builds remain yours as ideas, even though they sit on our server. You allow us to show screenshots and videos of the world, including your builds and your nickname, on the website, on Discord and on Kaksiland's social media. The same goes for screenshots, videos and builds you post on our Discord.
You're responsible for what you write in chat and what you build: no offensive or illegal content. The staff may remove builds, signs, item names and messages that break the rules.
7. Events and prizes
Every event has its own rules, which we post on Discord before it starts and which add to these terms. Prizes are in-game items with no monetary value. Whoever gets banned during an event receives no prize. If we suspect cheating, we may hold a prize until we've checked.
8. Website and server content
The website's texts, logo and graphics belong to Kaksiland. The spawn builds and the plugin interface belong to their authors, named in the credits at the bottom of every page. Don't copy them or use them elsewhere without permission. Minecraft, its name and its assets belong to Mojang Studios.
9. Availability and liability
We provide the server as is. We do our best to keep it online, but it may stop for maintenance, technical issues or closure, without notice and without any right to compensation. To the extent allowed by law, we aren't liable for indirect damage arising from the use of the website or the server. This doesn't apply where the law doesn't allow liability to be limited, for example for wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
10. Minecraft, Mojang and Microsoft
NOT AN OFFICIAL MINECRAFT SERVICE. NOT APPROVED BY OR ASSOCIATED WITH MOJANG OR MICROSOFT. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Studios. By playing you also accept the Minecraft EULA and Mojang's usage guidelines.
11. Personal data
The privacy policy and the cookies page explain how we handle your data.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; important changes are announced on Discord. Playing after a change means accepting it.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Italian law, without prejudice to the rights the law of your country grants you as a consumer. If there's a problem, let's talk first: open a ticket on our Discord or write to kaksiland@gmail.com, and we'll look for a solution together. If we can't find one, the court with jurisdiction under the law decides.
14. Final points
If any part of these terms turns out to be invalid, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a rule once, it doesn't mean we've given it up. The rights these terms give you are personal and you can't transfer them to anyone else.
