What Kaksiland is
A pure vanilla Minecraft survival server with land protection (claims), opened in 2014, closed in 2022 and back online. The original staff, together with the people who loved that server, decided to bring it back, better than before.
VersionMinecraft Java 26.2 and 26.3
ModeVanilla survival with claims
ExtrasAugmentations: skills (AuraSkills) and cosmetics. Custom enchantments coming soon
EconomyPlayer-driven: auction house, trades, server markets

History2014–2022, then the comeback
No pay to win.No donation gives you advantages, ranks or items. The server lives off the owner's pockets (and debts). What you get, you get by playing.
02
The map and the areas
The spawn is an archipelago: a main island with the arrival point and the way into the game world, plus a set of islands linked by bridges and piers that host markets, utilities and the PvP arena.
Spawn / Overworld
Arrival point and way into the survival world.
Intro
Welcome area for new players.
La Darsena
Main market on the piers, with useful game services. Three buildings, a merchant on every floor: the boat, the blue house and the restaurant.
Mercato del Tramonto
Second market, on the western island. The bar and the warehouse, with the resources of the Nether.
Arena in the crater to the north. PvP is also on outside protected areas.
Utility (south)

04
Economy
Players run the economy: you set the prices. The currency is the EuroKaksi (EK), and in game your balance is always on screen, above the hunger bar. The prices shown here are a reference and the staff may update them over time.
How money and items move
Auction house
Buy and sell any item with other players, at the price you choose. Commands and rules below.
Direct trades
/trade <name>, or Shift + right-click on a player, opens the trade menu: you both put your items in and confirm. You need to be within 10 blocks. Deals made outside the menu are at your own risk.
Server markets
At La Darsena and the Mercato del Tramonto every floor has a merchant who buys and sells the resources of its theme. Prices move: the more players sell something, the less the server pays for it; the more they buy it, the more it costs. They always stay within the range shown in the markets and start over every day. You trade in person only.
There's also a fourth way. When Stargout is online, they sell cosmetics: just ask and you might get a bargain. If you push too hard, they might ban you: 50/50.
Auction house
The market between players: you list an item at the price you want and anyone can buy it, even while you are offline. Open it with /ah.
Command
What it does
/ah
Opens the auction house: browse the categories, search and buy.
/ah sell <price>
Lists the item in your hand at a fixed price. You pick the amount in the confirmation menu.
/ah bid <price>
Auction with bids: it starts at the price you set and the highest bid wins.
/ah search <text>
Searches the open auctions for an item.
/ah cancel
Takes back one of your auctions: the item goes back to your inventory.
/ah collect
Collects the items from your expired auctions.
/ah amount
How many auctions you have open and how many you have left.
Listing is free. When you sell, the server keeps 5% of the price.
The minimum price is 1 EK.
An auction lasts 48 hours. If nobody buys, the item goes to your expired auctions and you collect it with /ah collect.
You start with 3 auctions open at once, and the milestones unlock more. Expired auctions you have not collected also take up a slot.
Every new auction is announced in chat.
Auction house: milestones
Every item you sell at auction counts. Each milestone unlocks a badge and lets you keep more auctions open at once.
Novice TraderFrom the start
Village Merchant100 sales+1 auction
Expert Dealer250 sales+1 auction
Master Auctioneer500 sales+2 auctions
Legendary Broker1,000 sales+3 auctions
Your milestones and sales so far are shown in game, in the auction house menu.
How you earn EK
By selling items to other players through the auction house and trades.
By selling resources to the server markets: no limits, but the more gets sold, the less it's worth.
By taking part in events and winning the prizes.
Note. If something feels too easy, you may have found a hole in the system. When in doubt, ask the staff before exploiting it. Or just don't get caught.
The markets
Every floor has its own merchant, who buys and sells the resources of its theme. Prices move: when lots of people sell something the server pays less for it, when lots of people buy it it costs more. Every night at midnight they go back to where they started. You trade in person only: right-click a merchant to open their shop. No buying or selling from home.

Black Market
On the north-west island you can buy "illegal" items, meaning things you can't get in vanilla: items you can't find in survival, exclusive enchantments, off-the-charts levels and cosmetics. You pay in person, in EuroKaksi earned in game. Prices stay within the range shown and go up when lots of people buy the same thing.

Black Market · First floor
Limited editions
Limited-time cosmetics: right now, the Halloween edition, until midnight on 9 November. See the cosmetics.
Higher up, no merchants: just cosmetics on display.
Limited editions
From Hana, on the first floor. Each edition stays in the shop for a while: as long as it's there, you can buy its cosmetics, with no server-wide stock limit.
Out of edition
When an edition ends, its cosmetics leave the shop and never come back. Whoever bought them keeps them. Unless Stargout brings them back.
You don't need anything from the Black Market to progress: it's an extra.
05
Cosmetics and custom enchantments
Hats, backpacks, off-hand items and balloons, with custom 3D models. Purely cosmetic: no in-game advantage.
You unlock them and they stay yours. When you buy a cosmetic, you unlock it on your account: it takes no inventory space, you don't lose it when you die and nobody can steal it. For the same reason, you can't trade it or sell it at auction.
The wardrobe
/cosmetics opens the wardrobe. It has one tab per type: hats, backpacks, off-hand and balloons.
Click a cosmetic you own to wear it. Togli (remove), at the bottom, takes off the one in that tab.
You can wear one per tab, even all four at once.
Ten cosmetics can be recoloured: right-click, pick one of 63 colours and click the preview to apply it. It's free and you can change it whenever you like.
The hat shows instead of your helmet, but your real helmet still protects you.
The wardrobe also shows the ones you don't have yet, with where to find them.
Where to buy them

Custom enchantments coming soon. Together with skills, they'll be the only changes to vanilla gameplay: cosmetics are purely cosmetic. Full list and details when we switch them on.
06
Skills and progression
Skills come from AuraSkills, an RPG-style system that sits on top of vanilla. At launch we use the standard configuration, and the staff will tweak it over time. You level up by playing: skills can't be bought.
How it works
Skills
Every action in game gives XP in the related skill: chopping trees → Foraging, mining ores → Mining. There are 11 base skills.
Stats
As a skill levels up, it raises two stats (every level or every other level).
Passive abilities
Every skill has 5. They unlock in the first five levels, improve every 5 and are always on.
Mana abilities
Some skills have a special ability to trigger: it uses mana and has a cooldown.
Mana
The tank for mana abilities. The maximum grows with Wisdom and refills with Regeneration. In game it is always on screen, above the hunger bar.
/skills
The in-game menu with levels, stats and unlocked abilities.

Getting started
Join and look around
You arrive at the spawn. Stop by the Intro area to find your bearings.
Read the rules
They're short and apply to everyone. Read them here: not knowing the rules doesn't exempt you from sanctions.
Build your base
The portal at the spawn (/warp portale) takes you into the vanilla survival world. Walk 25 blocks away from the arrival point, then gather, build and protect your area with a claim.
Discover the markets
At La Darsena and the Mercato del Tramonto you deal with the merchants; at the auction house, with other players.
Join the Discord
Announcements, events and tickets go through there, and so do your questions.
